    About 5:30 Monday night, a 48-yearold woman from Northport was northbound on M-22, driving her gray 2017 Chevrolet when a dog ran out into the roadway and was struck.

    During an unusually brief meeting last week, the Elmwood Township Board adopted a budget for 2019 following an annual budget hearing at which no public comment was offered.

    The township’s general fund budget for the new fiscal year beginning Jan. 1 anticipates $857,810 in revenues and $857,036 in expenditures.
